A methodology where tasks are divided into smaller goals with specific time limits, teaching students to allocate time effectively and meet deadlines.
Sample of use in education with students with IDD
During a robotics activity, the teacher sets incremental goals, such as “Assemble the base of the robot in 15 minutes” and “Complete the wiring in 10 minutes.” The teacher uses a clock or timer to guide the student, gradually helping them develop an awareness of time and the ability to manage it independently.
