Resource description
Maker's Lab: Animals in Motion is an educational kit that allows students to build and program animal models in motion, combining creativity, science and technology. This kit is designed to foster STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) learning through the construction of mechanisms and the programming of motors that simulate the movement of animals.
Sample of use in education with students with IDD
With Animals in Motion, students can create replicas of different animals and program their movement in an interactive way. This kit is ideal for stimulating the imagination and promoting technical skills such as engineering, robotics and basic programming. By allowing for construction and customization, Animals in Motion encourages critical thinking, problem solving and hands-on learning.

Key features:

Modular construction: students can assemble animal models using interchangeable parts.
Interactive motion: Animal models can be programmed to walk, fly or swim, depending on the design.
Simple programming: Motors and sensors are controlled through an easy-to-use visual programming interface.
Hands-on learning: Promotes understanding of mechanical, biological and robotics concepts through play.
