Resource description
The TOBII Eye Tracking System is an innovative technology that allows users to interact with computers and other devices by tracking their eye movements. Using advanced sensors, the TOBII system detects the direction in which the user is looking, enabling object selection, screen navigation, and command execution, all without the need for physical contact.
Sample of use in education with students with IDD
This system is especially valuable in special education settings, as it provides students with physical, motor or communication disabilities an alternative way to control devices and participate in interactive activities. TOBII is commonly used to enhance augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and facilitate learning by enabling students to access educational content, express their ideas, and develop cognitive and social skills.

Key features:

Gaze-based interaction: users can control the system by simply moving their eyes to select and execute actions.
High accuracy: The TOBII system accurately detects eye movements, providing fast and smooth response.
Facilitates accessibility: It is ideal for people with severe motor disabilities or difficulties using traditional interfaces.
Compatible with educational software: It can be integrated with various applications and programs designed to enhance learning and communication.
