Positive behavior support helps people understand their behavior to meet their needs
Sample of use in education with students with IDD
A minor with Autism Spectrum Disorder or ASD who gets nervous when there is a lot of noise and begins to cry and self-harm. If you take an excursion outside the classroom, you can reach an agreement with him to prevent him from reaching that level of stress.
In this case we can use headphones, have a trusted companion sit next to him, give him an object that he likes, such as his favorite book.
