Resource description
CoSpaces Edu is a 3D virtual world creation platform that allows students to design, program and explore custom spaces using visual programming blocks and 3D elements. It is widely used to teach computational thinking skills, creativity and problem solving in education. More information: https://www.cospaces.io/
Sample of use in education with students with IDD
CoSpaces Edu enables students with intellectual disabilities to develop planning and abstract thinking skills in a safe and adaptive environment. By building virtual worlds, these students can practice organizing spaces and tasks, improve their attention and concentration skills, and work collaboratively with their peers, which strengthens social and interaction skills.
